Problem:
Opening a unique Mexican restaurant that becomes part of the culture of a town.
our solution:
Experiential Branding
For this project, we were tasked to create concepts for multiple murals for the grand opening of the store. The murals involved the story of Nezahualcoyotl, “The Poet King”- a prince and warrior of the pre-Columbian era Mexico. Besides the creation of concepts, we were tasked to paint one of the murals on the entrance of this location.
A graphic poster was also developed in an effort to commemorate the grand opening of their first location in Needham, MA, with the idea of creating one of these each year by different artists in Massachusetts. Our design involves elements of the poetic story of Nezahualcoyotl. A screen print limited edition series was produced as well.
With this client we:
Created an 8x8 floor mural for the restaurant entrance.
Illustrated a graphic poster commemorating the grand opening of their Needham location, which became the first poster of an annual series that involves different artists in Massachusetts.
Produced a limited edition series of original screen printing posters.
