How to make fans feel like they are part of the artist’s story, while increasing market validation, sales, and social numbers?

Over the course of one month, we coordinated a month of marketing built around the artist in an effort to increase market validation, increase sales, grow social numbers, and introduce various creative media forms in an effort to curate culture. Essentially, we hijacked this artist’s social media outlets for a month, and gave people in this market a narrative to care about.
With this client we:
Hosted a promotional music show with the artist. The event was Victor's first headline event in Boston.
Released a collaborative shirt design, with % proceeds to charity.
Ran fangating contests utitlizing the artist's large followers as our base.
Established a Soundcloud and released 1 original track, 1 hour long mix, and 5 remixes made by rising influential artists from around the world (including now EDM superstar, NGHTMRE). The tracks were so hard-hitting that we strategically released them one day at a time in order to maximize the length of time we were commanding such a large influx in attention.
The mix became the first installment of the "Khross Family Blend" artist mix series- a monthly release that, in 9 months, generated over 1.2 million plays and millions more impressions.
